Dining Table
Styled on the old refectory tables used in England in
large dining rooms. These tables were usually massively built from English
oak which was plentiful at the time. They were well used and those which
have survived are mostly heavily worn and dented.
This design, of course, is only fashioned after those tables. The size fits into the modern dining rooms and I have purposefully left out any carving which was often present. It was designed to be made from oak but made from cherry
it has a much warmer softer appearance. |
