Solid wood construction with classical lines.
For some time I have been bored with the rather limited selection of drawer handles available locally and decided to make a simple wooden handle for this suite. My intent was to make it in a contrasting wood but that is not necessary.
Best wood for this is a fine grained hardwood.
Walnut, cherry, good mahogany, etc. (not oak)
The indented panel in the top drawer is colored naugahide (or similar)
