#422 Garden Bench and #412 Chair

My wife keeps a beautiful garden and asked me to make a bench where we could sit and smell the roses.

Function :- A place to rest in comfort with place for a cup etc.

Construction :- Sturdy, able to withstand all weather.

Appearance :- Sort of rustic.

From a designer's point of view, pretty straightforward but on looking around I find that few of the benches available commercially bothered with the first rule of design. They are just not comfortable.

We have enjoyed a lot of time on this bench and I thought I should include it as it is simple to make and a very rewarding project.
